1998 – This was intended to be released as the second Elate single with VC/Virgin, but ended up only being promo-released. It's difficult to fathom major labels at times! Some of these original promo's can be found on the Discogs website. I had always been a big fan of Oliver Cheatham's 1983 club classic 'Get Down Saturday Night' and had been playing about with some samples from it. One weekend, David and Denise came up with some lyrics and we realised it was a really good potential single. I brought in Danny Hibrid again to co-produce it with with me and we recorded it at the Roundhouse Studios in London. Additional remixes were provided by Blacksmith. It's true that you can't keep a good idea down, and the Oliver Cheatham track resurfaced in 2001, being sampled in its entirety by Room 5 feat. Oliver Cheatham in their huge club track 'Make Luv'. I was very happy that Oliver finally got recognition for his track after so many years.
