1989 - With the original version riding high in the UK Club Charts, we were approached by several major labels, eventually deciding to do a deal with RCA. As was the case with many record companies, they wanted an exclusive recorded version that they owned, so it was once again back into the studio for another remix, this time without any interference from in-house producers. Recorded in a Liverpool studio over the Christmas period of 1989, everyone was talking about the approaching new decade and so we decided to use the name for this new version. This track also went on to feature on the gold selling Telstar double album 'Get On This'.
